DESCRIPTION
King is a 7-year-old husky with a strikingly handsome look and an even sweeter personality to match. He absolutely loves people and thrives on human attention, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal and affectionate dog.
King has done well with other dogs , but due to his high prey drive, he will need a home without small dogs or cats. He has also been good with kids, though a home with older children is recommended. Like many huskies, King is a bit of an adventurer at heart-he has a strong desire to roam and is a known escape artist.
Because of this, King will need a very secure, fenced-in yard and a family committed to supervising him whenever he's outside. If left unattended, he may try to dig or find a way to explore beyond the yard. Keeping him safe will require diligence, but in return, you'll have an incredibly loving and devoted companion.
King is housetrained and already has some great manners in place. He would do best with an experienced owner who is knowledgeable about the husky breed and understands their unique needs, energy level, and tendencies. With the right home that can provide structure, security, and plenty of love, King will truly shine.
King currently weighs about 60lbs., is approximately 7 years (est. birth date 01/29/2019), and his adoption fee is $315. King has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about King, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
