This handsome, young pup with stunning blue eyes, was found wandering the streets of Buffalo at the beginning of March. The kind gentleman who found Jersey took care of him until he entered his Awesome Paws foster home. Jersey is now ready to find a permanent home and family to call his own!
If you and your family enjoy being active, then Jersey is the dog for you! He is energetic and playful and would do best with an owner/family that would be willing to take him on lots of walks/hikes and play outside with him. He currently lives with 5 other dogs in his foster home and wants to play with all of them! His energy and playfulness tend to be too much for the senior dogs in the home, but the younger ones enjoy running around with him. Jersey's foster home does not have any cats or children so his behavior towards them would need to be assessed at a meet and greet.
Due to his young age, Jersey is still learning basic commands and manners that he will need to continue working on in a new home. So far, he has been doing a good job with crate-training and walking on a leash. Jersey also does well with riding in the car so he would be a great companion for social outings.
