Meet Myron!
This gentle, loyal soul was adopted from FAPL as a puppy and back due to his human moving. He recently spent time in a loving foster home to work on getting back to a healthy weight, and was a true gentleman.
From foster:
Myron knows how to ask to go out when he needs to. Fine with my resident cats. Loves sleeping inside his blanket-covered crate. Is not really one to play with toys, but he does get excited to push around his kibble dispensing wobbly ball. He is laser focused on his job of kitchen floor inspector- ready and willing to clean up any crumb that touches the ground. He also makes a good garden supervisor. Myron becomes very attached to his human, once he meets you he truly is your companion. Short walks, and lots of nap time are on his agenda at his age!
Myron deserves the best home to live out his retirement years. A quiet , calm home is just what he dreams of. Myron is truly a staff and volunteer favorite!
No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.
If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
Upon visiting FAPL, if you don't see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
