Meet Myrtle she only 3 years old and only just beginning to learn what love really is. She came from a hoarding situation where she didn't know toys, or even a dogbead or what love was or how to be a dog so the world is still a scary, unfamiliar place for her.

When she first came, she was shut down and unsure and her fur had to be completely shaved due to severe matting. But as her hair grows back in, she is going to be the cutest little girl, finally feeling as good as she deserves.

She's learning to play with toys. She's realizing humans aren't so scary. She is still at the very beginning. She will need weeks... maybe even months to truly trust and blossom. There will be slow days but there will also be moments that make your heart stop.When she leans in, asks for pets, and finally lets herself feel safe.

Myrtle is a sweet soul who would thrive in a calm home. She is good with other dogs but would be just as happy being your one and only. He's crate trained, but would rather not be crated but sleeps through the night, and is learning every day how to just be a dog. She's the dog who will slowly become everything.
