Great Pyrenees Dogs Available for Adoption in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota

Say hello to Kim! This adorable ~14-week-old Great Pyrenees mix is as charming as she is beautiful, with a soft black coat brushed with lovely brindle coloring.

Kim has settled into her foster home wonderfully—and has confidently decided it’s all hers! Toys, beds, and even items belonging to the resident dogs are fair game in her eyes. She lives with two larger dogs and bravely jumps right into their wrestling matches like a tiny warrior. Despite her playful independence, Kim is also incredibly devoted and loves to stick close to her person—wherever you go, she’s right behind you.

She’s making great progress with potty training and already knows to head to the door when she needs to go out, though she hasn’t quite learned a verbal cue yet. With a consistent schedule, she does very well and can make it through the night without accidents.

Kim is also getting the hang of leash walking. While she occasionally pauses to chew on the leash (because, puppy!), she truly enjoys exploring the world around her. At bedtime, she sleeps soundly in her kennel in her foster’s room and settles in quickly. During the day, she’s comfortable in her kennel as long as she can see the other dogs—but if left completely alone, she may get a little vocal.

Highly food- and treat-motivated, Kim is eager to learn and has already mastered “sit”! Like most puppies, staying still isn’t always easy, but when it’s time to relax, she’s more than happy to curl up in a lap and soak up belly rubs.

She’s even been on a few car rides and seems to enjoy the adventure. Kim is a sweet, spirited puppy who, with continued training and lots of love, will grow into a wonderful family companion.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $650.00
