Meet Shulker—a confident, people‑loving Great Pyrenees puppy with a calm soul, playful heart, and classic Pyr charm. One of the “Minecraft Litter” pups (with brothers Wither and Creeper, and sister Vex), Shulker adores people and greets the world with quiet confidence. From day one in foster care, he walked in like he belonged—brave, curious, and ready to join the big‑dog fun. Shulker is sweet and thoughtful, often sitting in front of you to offer his trademark Pyr paw and soulful looks before happily jumping back into playtime. He’s affectionate without being pushy and has a steady, easygoing nature—the kind of pup who will check the yard, soak in the sights, then flop down nearby once the day’s work is done. He’d be thrilled to grow up with a kid (with normal puppy supervision, of course). As a Pyr pup, Shulker is growing into that classic guardian vibe: smart, fluffy, independent, and occasionally chatty about “important things.” He’ll thrive with reward‑based training, early socialization, enrichment toys, regular brushing, and a consistent routine. He’ll be happiest in a home with a 5-foot securely fenced yard and a playful large‑breed canine buddy—someone to explore, wrestle, and grow up alongside. Cats are welcome too! If you’re ready for a loyal, gentle companion with a playful spark, Shulker is ready to meet you and start your next great adventure together.

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.
Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
