Alejandro knows his name and responds well to it. He is a very well-behaved, sweet dog who rides great in the car, walks nicely on leash without pulling, is house trained with no accidents, and rarely barks. He does well with dogs of all sizes - even letting the chihuahuas boss him around! Alejandro is sensitive and does best in a calm home, as he can cower when voices are raised. He can be a picky eater but loves cheese, and while he's easy to bathe, water makes him a little nervous. Overall, he's a wonderful family dog, but he should not be around chickens and will need a secure yard, as he can jump a 6-foot chain-link fence when left alone.
