At just 6 months old and already tipping the scales at 75 pounds, Sampson is well on his way to becoming the full-sized Great Dane he was born to be, though no one’s told him that yet. In his mind, he’s still a lap dog, and honestly, he’s not wrong.

Sampson is believed to be a purebred merle Great Dane, born November 3, 2025, and already weighing 75 pounds. He has had his first vet check with Dr. Ruff at Southway Animal Clinic and is off to a great start.

Sampson is the definition of a gentle giant in the making. He has a calm, easygoing nature that can match even the most laid-back household, but he’s still got that sweet puppy curiosity that keeps life interesting. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, where he shines because he’s amazing on a leash, or stretching out for a good nap, he’s happy just being near his people.

He’s doing wonderfully with his kennel training, sleeping through the night like a pro, and he gets along beautifully with other dogs. Cats? He’s met them, assessed them, and decided they’re not worth the fuss. Truly, a respectful gentleman.

After a great vet check, Sampson is healthy, happy, and ready for his next chapter. His favorite things include being close to his humans, gentle playtime, and of course, snuggling up like he’s half his size.
