Elliot is an approximately 4 year old, 140 pound male Great Dane that is being rehomed due to resource guarding issues. He has become increasingly protective of the wife in the family and would do best in another environment.
Elliot has received professional training with Alex at Honorable K9 in Nampa, ID and his rehoming fee will be applied towards several training sessions to insure his new family will continue to reinforce proper behavior.
Elliott has a goofy personality and loves car rides, walks, tug and snuggling under the blankets on the couch with you and thinks he is a lap dog. He is very affectionate, good manners and is familiar with place, stay, sit (will respond hand signal for sit), shake, low high fives and lay. He is required to sit before going in and out of a door (house, car, etc.)
He is crate trained and stays there during the day.
We recommend no children under the age of 12.
Elliot is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. You must be willing to commit to several sessions with Alex to be considered. Alex says Elliot has been great with other dogs during his training sessions.

Our adoptions start with an application in which we learn a little more about you in order to make sure you and our foster dog(s) are a great match. Because all of our foster families are volunteers, they typically have jobs, school or a family and we ask that before you meet one of our foster puppies or dogs, you need to be preapproved through our application process. Please email CindyBnBRescue@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Our adoption fees vary from $100 - $500 and this helps cover the cost of a Veterinarian exam, spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, parasite control, microchip, training and transport.
Once your application is approved, an appointment will be made with you to meet the dog(s) you are interested in.
When coming to your appointment, out of common courtesy, please be on time or let us know if you will be late as back to back meet and greet appointments are often made.
If we decide you and the dog are a great match, be prepared to being your new family member home that day. We are not able to hold on to pets as we frequently have multiple applicants interested in adopting the same dog.
