Meet Nala A Tiny Dane With a Big, Beautiful Personality!

Nala has come a long way in just a few months, and shes blossoming into a confident girl with a playful spirit. Though shes on the smaller side for a Great Dane, she makes up for it with personality, affection, and plenty of endearing quirks.

Nala has grown comfortable enough in her foster home to settle into a bit of an alpha role, so shed likely do best with a resident dog who is easygoing and non-dominant. With the right match, she enjoys companionship and has been left uncrated with another dog for long stretches.

This sweet girl is wonderfully affectionate she loves to curl up in your lap and soak in all the closeness she can get. But Nala also has moments of unexpected timidity, where she isnt quite sure of herself. Her personality can be a little uneven at times, and she can switch from brave to bashful quickly, so shell thrive with someone patient and emotionally attuned.

Playtime is one of her favorite things, and she can get a little rambunctious when shes excited. She finds joy in toys, silliness, and exploring, and she occasionally gets creative when shes bored like the day she brought a marker to her bed for safekeeping! But overall shes respectful in the home, completely accident-free, and not much of a counter-surfer. She does well on leash and car rides too.

Nala is still learning her basic commands and can be a bit selective about listening, but shes smart and motivated by bonding with her people. With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, shell continue to grow into her best self.
