Energy Level:

Shay is a true “backyard queen.” She’s happy with short walks and exploring her yard, then she’s ready to curl up and relax for the rest of the day.

What Makes Her Special:

- Adorable wake-up face scrunch
- Calm, cuddly, and comfortable in almost any situation
- Loves exploring with a dog companion

Things to Know:
- Sometimes wary of men with hats (low bark, but warms up quickly)
- Chases cats and may eat cat poop
- Not obedience trained, but gentle correction works well
- Counter surfs for food if given the chance

Life Skills:

- Housetrained
- Crate-trained, but also does well without one
- Walks nicely on leash
- Car rides improving; gaining confidence with each trip
