When he gets excited—especially around mealtime or when he sees a female dog he likes—he shows it with his signature “bunny hops,” lifting all four paws off the ground in pure joy.

Gunther is currently living with male dogs and does well, but he truly thrives in the presence of female dogs. He becomes more playful, engaged, and confident, and would do best in a home with a canine companion he can bond with and enjoy.

He is a fully trained dog with excellent manners, making him a wonderful addition to a home looking for a large breed without the challenges of raising a puppy. Gunther walks well on a leash, is crate trained, rides nicely in the car, and does well with children.
