DESCRIPTION

Meet Nick 🐾

This adorable little guy (who won’t stay little for long!) is a 7-month-old pup we recently rescued from a local shelter after he was found as a stray and never claimed. We’re so glad he’s safe with us now!

We believe Nick is a Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees mix, currently weighing about 42 pounds. He’s already neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home.

We’re still getting to know him, but so far Nick has shown us just how sweet and loving he is. When he’s feeling unsure, he just wants to curl up in your lap for comfort and reassurance—he’s truly a gentle soul. The world is still very new to him, so he’ll need a patient home that will go slow and help him build confidence while continuing his training.

The good news? He’s already showing how smart and eager he is to learn, and his confidence is growing more every day. He absolutely lights up around other dogs and would likely love a canine companion.

We’ll share more as we learn about him, but one thing we already know—Nick is a very special pup and he won’t be available for long 💛

GRCGLARescue adopts within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. Because we do require pre-adoption screening and post-adoption follow-up, we cannot support adoptions outside of this service area.
