DESCRIPTION

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‐984‐1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.

Sky is a 1‐year‐old Golden Retriever weighing 45.5 pounds, and she is every bit the classic golden--sweet, goofy, affectionate, and full of joyful energy. She loves to play, especially in the kiddie pools in our play yards, where she happily splashes around without a care in the world.

She has done well with a Bull Terrier mix here at the facility, and the two enjoy playing together. Sky can sometimes try to "challenge dominance" with other dogs, but she responds well to correction. We believe this is simply young‐dog behavior, and with the right guidance and structure, she should adapt well into just about any home.

Sky was surrendered to us because her owner was being deployed, and despite the big change, she has remained her cheerful, loving self. Our veterinary team cleared her as healthy, and her adoption fee is $500.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.

If you have any questions or would like to set up a time to meet Sky, we'd be happy to help. She's a bright, loving, delightfully goofy girl who's ready to bring sunshine and laughter into her forever home. 🐾✨
