Some dogs are named after their story… and Trip’s journey is just beginning.

This sweet 2-year-old Golden Retriever mix was found alone on the side of a road in Arkansas, weighing just 30 pounds and wondering if anyone would stop for him. Thankfully, someone did — and now Trip is safe, loved, and ready for the next chapter of his adventure.

Trip is the perfect “compact Golden” size — small enough to fit comfortably into almost any home, but with all the loving personality you’d expect from a retriever mix. Whether it’s riding shotgun for coffee runs, curling up beside you after a long day, or exploring the world one sniff at a time, Trip is ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick.

Now all he needs is a family willing to give him the happy ending he deserves.

As a fee-based adoption rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fund raisers. Our adoption fee is $450, and transport is arranged for post-adoption. The fee is tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Should you choose to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee remains the same. Thank you for your valuable support.
