German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in St. Helens, Oregon

This is Delta, approximately one year-old GSD. She is fixed and up to date on all her vaccines. Her vet is Columbia vet in St Helen's. Her nickname is "Delter Smelter" as her dad called her, is looking for her forever home after an unfortunate accident where she lost her dad. I am fostering her until she can get into a permanent home that understands her breed and needs.

Delta is very much a puppy with all the puppy enthusiasts and energy and is very eager to learn new things daily. She does good with other dogs. She came from a household with 4 kids ages 8-3 and is great with kids. Although can be reactive at first. She is Kennel trained and that is definitely her safe space. She is currently living on a farm that has chickens, goats, horses, peacocks, cats and dogs. She has been fine with all of them and adapted well. I would say no cats though until she could get more training on desensitization to them. She loves to play ball, go for runs. She's a water dog and loves to go swimming! A couple things she needs help with, She is very reactive when meeting new people/ friends jumping barking lunging. She is also a very heavy puller on leash. We have been working on it. She also has shown some signs of food protection due to my other dog having food aggression but we are working on it and she seems to be doing better.
