Phoenix is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how anyone ever let her go. This 5-year-old German Shepherd is wicked smart, a little goofy, and the definition of loyal. She's the "where are we going next, bestie?" type of girl - always tuned into her person and happiest right by your side.

When a rescue partner came to us for help, Phoenix was heartbreakingly emaciated and covered in a few bumps and bruises from life not being very kind to her. But even then? She was still sweet. Still trusting. Still leaning into people for love so we teamed up to help this wonderful pup.

Now she's working hard on gaining weight, healing up, and learning that good things finally happen to good dogs. And let us tell you... this girl deserves the world.

Phoenix is looking for a family who wants a true companion - the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, make you laugh with her silly little quirks, and love you with her whole heart.
