DESCRIPTION
Meet Icy,
Icy has been thru a lot and is still learning the world is a safe place and humans can be loving and kind. She is playful and sweet. Icy is very much a “follow the leader” kind of girl, so she’ll thrive in a home with another confident dog to show her the ropes — she bonds with dogs first and gains confidence from them. She would do best with a patient family who understands she’s still learning that the world is safe.
She’s absolutely obsessed with car rides, her foster brother, and curling up in a cozy donut bed. Fully potty trained and making progress with leash walking, but because she can still get spooked, a home with a secure yard is a must.
Her favorite place is near her people — close enough to keep an eye on you, but far enough to feel safe. Watching her slowly choose connection on her own terms is incredibly special.
If you are interested, please send an inquiry and fill out an adoption application, which can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org/adopt
Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run.
Please keep in mind that we select the best-qualified applicants based on the needs of both the dog and the applicant.
