Bobby weighs about 90 lbs. A veterinarian estimated him at around 5 years old, but we feel he may be older and closer to his senior years. And in his case, that only makes him more special.
There is something very gentle and soulful about Bobby.
The way he looks at you, the way he stays close, the way he chooses quiet connection over noise, it feels like he has lived through more than he ever should have.
Bobby hasn’t had an easy life.
He knows what it means to be ignored, to be unwanted, to not matter to anyone. But somehow, he never lost his ability to love.
He still hopes.
He still believes that somewhere out there is his person.
He may be a little cautious at first, taking a moment to understand who you are. But when he realizes he is safe, when he understands that you are his, he gives you everything.
His trust, his loyalty, his whole heart. The kind of love that only a dog like Bobby can give, quiet, deep, and unshakable.
He does not ask for much. Just to be near you. Just to finally belong. Just to feel that he matters to someone.
Bobby does not need a perfect home. He just needs his home.
And more than anything, he deserves to spend the years ahead, however many they may be, not surviving, but living, loved, safe, and finally at peace.
