Happy Spring! My name is Athena and I'm a beautiful 2yr old female German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport.

Quick Facts
Age: 2yrs old
Kids: teenage or adult home preferred
Dogs: good with large male dogs
Cats: NO cats
Training: needs full obedience training

1. My previous owner decided to dump me when I was in heat. I guess they didn't want to take care of me anymore so now I'm with the best rescue, never to have babies!

2. I'm getting lots of exercise while on the farm and ideally need to be adopted by someone who will keep me active. I need some good playtime and would love to take walks, hikes, or go for runs.

3. In my video, you can see me playing with a large male doggo named Satchmo (available). I'd love to have a friendly male dog to play with!

4. I'm a young girl and need to be trained to my fullest potential. I need to let a PHD in obedience training. I'm talking sit, stay, come, down, place, leash walking, and anything else you can teach me.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
