Meet Charlie!

Some puppies burst into a room like they own the place. Charlie prefers to take a moment, look around, and make sure everything is just right before joining the fun.

This handsome shepherd mix puppy is approximately 10 weeks old and is equal parts sweet, smart, and snuggly. While Charlie can be a little shy and reserved when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine. Once he knows you're a friend, he's all cuddles, puppy kisses, and loyal companionship.

Charlie is a curious little explorer who loves discovering new things, playing with toys, and learning about the world around him. He's a thoughtful pup who enjoys taking everything in before jumping into the action, and his intelligence shines through in everything he does.

While still very young he is doing wonderfully with housebreaking and crate training and has had very few accidents.

Because he's still building confidence, Charlie would absolutely thrive in a home with an older, well-adjusted dog who can help show him the ropes. Having a canine role model to learn from would help this sweet boy continue blossoming into the amazing dog he's destined to become.

Charlie has received all age-appropriate vaccines and deworming but still requires two additional rounds, both of which our rescue will provide. He has also been started on a monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworms. Due to his age, Charlie is currently available through our foster-to-adopt program, with his adoption to be finalized after his neuter surgery in approximately two months.
