Dee is a beautiful 6-month-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her paws. Weighing in at 42 pounds, she’s growing into a wonderful, well-balanced companion who’s already showing what a special girl she is.

Recently spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, Dee is also heartworm negative and ready to head home with her forever family.

What really sets Dee apart is her calm, loving nature. While many puppies are bouncing off the walls, Dee is more of an old soul. She absolutely adores cuddling, happily settling in right beside you on the couch for some quiet time. She enjoys walks but isn’t overly high-energy, making her a great fit for a home looking for a more relaxed companion.

Dee is wonderful with other dogs, rides well in the car, and carries herself with a gentle, easygoing spirit that makes her a joy to be around.

• Collinsville (north of St. Louis) - Friday evening

* Oglesby - We won’t be at our usual Oglesby stop this week but dogs can be picked up in Bloomington, Peoria or Davenport.
Iowa
* Davenport - Saturday morning
* Des Moines - Saturday early afternoon
Nebraska
* Omaha - Saturday afternoon

Medical & Spay/Neuter Information:
Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.

Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.

Breed is our best estimate based on the puppy’s appearance and, when known, the mother’s appearance. Fathers are rarely known, and litters can have multiple fathers, meaning puppies may be half-siblings with different breed mixes.
