Meet FLUFFS!

He is a 4 ish year old German Shepherd Dog who weighs 58 pounds. He is sweet and friendly and does well with other dogs. Fluffs is a bundle of energy, but more laid back than his sisters. He will need an active family who will exercise both mind and body daily. He is crate trained, knows some commands and walks well on a leash. FLUFFS lived with 3 other dogs and they got along fine, but he does not share food well and will need to be fed separately (a good idea for most dogs).

Unfortunately, FLUFFS was mistreated in his previous home and had to be removed by the Sheriff. He hasn't lost his spirit and is very resilient. He is looking forward to getting a stable family and getting treated well.

Adoption fee is $400

All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include:

~spay/neuter
~micro-chip
~de-worming
~vaccinations, including rabies
~heartworm prevention

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
