Roxy is a sweet and shy girl who warms up quickly—especially if there's food involved! This low-medium energy pup is an indoor kid who likes to go outside for short periods and then prefers to head back inside and chill in her crate. Roxy is looking for a laid-back home where she can get lots of love, encouragement, and quality naps.

Roxy enjoys the company of other dogs but is also happy to entertain herself. When meeting new people she likes to take things slowly and move at her own pace. Once Roxy has had a chance to sniff and observe, she loves to make new friends. She's been great with the older kids she's met and would likely do well with children who respect her space and let her come to them. Roxy is curious about cats and would do fine with dog-savvy cats who don't mind the occasional sniff. She loves to chew on a bone or slowly and methodically take apart a chew toy to keep herself occupied.

Roxy is fully crate trained and will often choose to go straight into her crate when she comes in from outside. She's crated consistently during the day and overnight and likes to have her safe space to hang out. Roxy is also fully house trained, making her an easy addition to a home. She walks well on her leash and looks forward to continuing to perfect her leash skills in her new home.
