Syd is a distinguished senior gentleman looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. He arrived in foster care a few weeks ago as a stray, so his past is a mystery—but he’s been making up for lost time ever since.

In just a short time, Syd has learned so much. He’s picked up on potty training, discovered proper house manners (he now understands that pillows are not snacks:), and is thriving on a consistent routine.

Estimated to be around 10–11 years old, Syd still has a playful spirit that might surprise you. He truly enjoys life’s simple pleasures—time spent outdoors, cozy naps, and most of all, being with his people. He absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.

Syd is currently fostered with two other senior male dogs and gets along well with them, remaining mostly indifferent and content to do his own thing.

Syd settles in nicely at night, typically sleeping soundly from about 10 PM to 7 AM, and will gently let you know when he’s ready to start his day with a trip outside.
