Joey Dion is a no-nonsense kind of dude, if he wore jeans - they would be heavily starched.

Just shy of 2 years-old an all natural red Doberman with a cautious side, he enjoys being part of a pack and playing hard. He pancakes in new situations outside of his foster home, Joey stays quiet -no growling, no barking- and stares at new things and people. When he warms up, he is bossy and vocal, barking for attention. Joey can be too rough with smaller dogs and too assertive for male dogs.
He loves being outside, sniffing and running. Crate trained.

Seeking a family to continue to socialize this Texas boy.

Now neutered, Up to Date on Vaccines, Microchipped, Testing Negative for Heartworms and on Preventions. His current weight is 65 lbs, he is tall and lean.

History: Galveston County cruelty case removed eight Dobermans of various ages from a property - they did not have shelter, water or food. The dogs were isolated and timid of human contact. The boys had bites and cuts on their legs and heads. CCR provided medical care for all of the dogs and months in foster homes has offered necessary socializing.
