Dachshund Dogs Available for Adoption in Bedford, New Hampshire
DALE
Dachshund
🇺🇸
Bedford, New Hampshire
June 2nd
male, small, adult
DESCRIPTION
Dale the Dachshund! He's cute and sweet but very nervous about the world.
Dale came from a situation with too many animals. He's under-socialized as a result, and frightened of everyday sounds, sights, etc.. He's not at all accustomed to all the things most dogs are already used to at his age. But he sure is a handsome! He doesn't know how to walk on a leash, and he doesn't like leashes currently, so it would be amazing for him if he could find an adopter with a fenced yard, but we're not requiring it.
Dale did formerly live with other small dogs, but some didn't get along well, so we're uncertain how he would do with another dog. If a potential adopter had a dog, we'd try a dog meeting here at the shelter. We have no idea about cats. He's looking for a home with adults only.
If you're looking for a small dog in need, Dale is your guy! Someone patient and kind, that's what he hopes for most. Call the shelter at (603) 472-3647 and press 1 to schedule an appointment to meet him.
