Meet Puffy—an affectionate, soft-hearted 2-year-old (40-pound) lovebug with soulful eyes that seem to ask one simple question: “Are you my person?” He’s healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots—ready to start his new life the moment you say yes. Puffy did have a home once, but his family could no longer keep him. He didn’t understand why the people he loved were suddenly gone… he only knows he’s still waiting for another chance to belong.
Even with that big change, Puffy hasn’t hardened—if anything, he’s even more tender. He seeks out closeness, leans into gentle attention, and relaxes when he knows you’re nearby. He’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel warmer just by being in it—quiet company at your feet, a happy greeting at the door, and a steady presence when you need one.
Puffy is wonderfully social and easy to fit in—he does well with cats, dogs, and children. He’d thrive with people who want a true companion and will include him in everyday moments: morning routines, weekend errands, couch time, and all the little in-between parts of life that add up to “home.” A fenced yard would be a dream come true, but what matters most to Puffy is something far simpler and much bigger: being chosen for good.
Puffy charms nearly everyone he meets—and once you spend a little time with him, it’s hard not to imagine him as “yours.” All he needs now is someone willing to be his safe place—his forever home. He’s doing great in his foster home in the GTA and is ready for the next (and best) chapter of his life. We’re looking for a family located in Ontario within about 3 hours of Toronto. The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.
