Coco is a 1-year-old maybe a border Collie mix or possibly a small  Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix with the sweetest soul and a story that will absolutely melt your heart. At around 40 pounds, this beautiful girl is the perfect medium-sized companion — and she’s searching for the forever family she has always deserved.

When Coco was found wandering the streets alone in Texas, she was in heartbreaking condition. She was covered in ticks and fleas, suffering from severe alopecia of the skin, and had clearly been neglected for far too long. Because of her condition, she was sadly placed on the euthanasia list… but we knew this sweet girl deserved a chance to heal, to be loved, and to finally experience kindness. ❤️

Thankfully, an amazing foster stepped up for her in Texas, and Coco is now safe, receiving medical treatment, proper care, and so much love. Every single day she is growing stronger, healthier, and more confident. Watching her learn to trust people and realize she is safe has been truly incredible.

Coco can be a little timid at first — understandable after everything she’s been through — but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines. She is gentle, sweet, affectionate, and just wants someone to show her that she will never be abandoned again. She’s discovering what it means to be loved, and it’s impossible not to fall in love with her in return. 🥹

Coco is up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped.
Coco has survived so much already — now she deserves the beautiful future that’s waiting for her. 💕
