I came to the shelter as a stray, but it's pretty obvious that I belonged to someone before. I enjoy being around people and much prefer being indoors where I can relax and enjoy the comforts of home. I do have a couple of quirks. I'm not a big fan of being brushed, and I'd really rather you not mess with my backside too much. I also have an independent streak and sometimes choose to pretend I can't hear you when I don't feel like listening. It's not that I don't understand—I'm actually a pretty smart guy—I just like doing things on my own terms sometimes! Even with my stubborn moments, I have a lot of great qualities. I try very hard to keep my kennel clean and avoid pottying inside. I ride well in the car, walk decently on a leash, and I'm typically a quiet and easygoing companion.
