Rose Petal is an angel. This is not an over exaggeration, she is good with absolutely everyone, people, kids, pets, you name it. She's incredibly friendly and has a soft, sweet nature that makes her an instant favorite wherever she goes. If you're looking for a lap dog, Rose Petal is your girl. She loves being close, and she's happiest when she can snuggle right in with her person.
She is just a liiiiiiiittle bit clingy, and would be the ideal pup for someone who is home often and wants a constant cuddle companion by their side. Whether it's toys, playtime, or just lounging together, Rose Petal is always ready for more of her people.
Rose Petal came into rescue in Texas with some skin issues, but with proper care, love, and time, she is expected to continue healing with no issues.

Rose Petal is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 5/1/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
