Meet Browney!

Browney is a 13 year old Chihuahua mix weighing about 10 pounds, and all this sweet senior gentleman is looking for is a soft place to land and a family to love him through his golden years.

This laid-back little guy is the definition of easygoing. Browney loves nothing more than a cozy dog bed, a comfy couch, and snuggling up beside his humans. He has a calm, gentle soul and brings a peaceful, loving presence wherever he goes.

Browney’s journey hasn’t been the easiest—he came to us from a shelter in rough shape, suffering from severe flea dermatitis that caused him to lose much of his fur. But thanks to the dedicated care of his amazing foster mom, he’s been treated and is feeling so much better. His coat is growing back beautifully, and his true self is shining through!

He does well with other calm, respectful dogs and completely ignores cats. Browney is crate-trained for nighttime, though he’d also be happy in a playpen setup. He uses both puppy pads and goes outside, and he’s currently learning how to walk on a leash.

Browney is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and will come with a health certificate.

Because of his mellow nature, Browney would thrive in a quiet, low-key home—ideally without young children—where he can relax and enjoy a peaceful retirement filled with love, comfort, and companionship.
