Meet Payroll, a 12-pound Chihuahua with a big personality and an even bigger dedication to his favorite people. At around 3 years old, Payroll takes his role as loyal companion and part-time security system very seriously. Once you've earned his trust, he'll happily stay close by your side like a tiny supervisor making sure everything in the house runs on schedule.

Payroll is protective of his people and can be wary of strangers, so he'll need a patient adopter who understands that friendships with him are earned, not rushed. He would do best in a home without small children, where his boundaries will be respected and he can settle in at his own pace. He may do well with other small female dogs who are calm and respectful of his space.

Behind his tough-guy routine is a devoted little dog who wants a safe home, a comfy place to nap, and humans he can trust. With time and patience, Payroll's loyal and loving side really shines.

Payroll has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $150. All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor dogs with supervised playtime outside only.
