Meet Papi — a tiny survivor with a huge zest for life.
Papi is a Chihuahua mix who started life as a stray, so new people and environments can still feel a little scary at first. But once he feels safe, his goofy, happy personality shines through. One minute he’s cautiously watching from a corner, and the next he’s zooming around full of joy.
Papi absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship. He enjoys being outside, sunbathing, exploring, and finding little adventures wherever he goes. He sleeps well in his crate and is doing well learning leash skills, but he is not yet house trained and will need patience and consistency as he continues learning life as a loved pet.
Papi’s ideal home is one that understands shy dogs and will give him time to settle in at his own pace. In return, you’ll get to watch an incredible transformation from timid stray to playful, loving companion. Big Papa is approx. one year old.
Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.
