Wilbur is a sweet 3-month-old Chihuahua/Aussie mix who is on the lookout for a loving family to call his own. He’s currently learning his potty and leash manners and is doing great—he’ll be a pro in no time with a little consistency, patience, and plenty of belly rubs.
Wilbur has a gentle, thoughtful personality. He’s a bit more reserved than his brothers and likes to watch what’s going on before jumping in—but once he decides he’s ready, he’s all in with his whole heart. It’s adorable to see him build that confidence!
And let’s be honest—Wilbur is quite the handsome little guy, and he definitely knows it He also has a fun, playful side and loves spending time in the garden, especially weaving through the tall lilies like a little gnome.

New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure.
The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
