Cricket is the kind of dog who brings instant joy wherever she goes. This adorable 1-year-old mix (possibly Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound) but definitely 100% adorable!! She is full of personality, with a constantly wagging tail that seems a little too long for her tiny body—and it’s always in motion.

Found as a stray, Cricket hasn’t let her past slow her down. She absolutely loves people and enjoys the company of other dogs, whether she’s playing or curling up for snuggles. She’s gentle, affectionate, and has a playful curiosity about the world—especially when it comes to discovering new toys.

Cricket walks nicely on a harness and is very food-motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, has a generally calm and easygoing nature, and has shown no interest in bothering cats. She is still working on her house training, but she’s smart and eager to learn.

In the yard, Cricket shows off her playful side—bounding around like a little gazelle with that signature happy energy. While she does have some puppy enthusiasm, she balances it beautifully with her love of cuddling and being close to her people.

Cricket would make a wonderful companion for a variety of homes—anyone looking for a loving, fun, and loyal little dog will fall head over heels for her.

All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. For consideration for one or more dogs, we require that an on-line application is filled out.

Sorry, we do not adopt outside of Florida. Applicants are subject to a home visit, and veterinary references will be checked. Please include a vet reference (including phone number) when applying online.

Our application process:
FIRST, an application must be approved for adoption from our rescue.
SECOND, we determine whether the dog that has been applied for is a "good match" for the household that wants to adopt him/her. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.
If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again. We will make every effort to find the right dog for an approved applicant.
