Pumpkin Patch - Chihuahua and Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Bedford, New Hampshire
PUMPKIN PATCH
Chihuahua, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Bedford, New Hampshire
June 3rd
male, small, young
DESCRIPTION
He might be small but this little guy is a whole Pumpkin Patch.
Having lived in unsanitary conditions with over a dozen other small dogs (and some cats), Pumpkin Patch is ready to learn what being the pride and joy of his family means.
Though friendly, he can be avoidant of touch if he's not quite ready, so he would do best in an adult home with people who are patient. He hasn't had a lot of experience walking on leash, or generally being a normal dog, so be prepared for some messes while he is learning.
Pumpkin has lived with cats and other small dogs and could likely do so again.
For more information on Pumpkin Patch and to schedule a time to meet him, call the shelter at 603-472-3647 and press 1.
ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
