DESCRIPTION
Meet Koi - a sweet girl with a gentle heart and a little more confidence than her sister, Betta. Koi and Betta were found together at an abandoned home in Scaly Mountain, and while they're both still learning to trust again, Koi has started showing her brave side a little more each day.
She can still be shy at first, but Koi is curious about people and wants so badly to be loved. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality starts to shine through. She enjoys staying close, accepts treats happily, and looks to her sister for comfort while also helping encourage Betta to be brave too.
Koi has been through a lot in her short life, but despite everything, she still has so much love to give. She just needs someone willing to give her patience, kindness, and the safe home she's never truly had.
Dogs like Koi don't need perfection - they just need someone to believe in them.
ABOUT: CAROLINA DOG DOG BREED
The Carolina Dog, a primitive breed known for its wild ancestry, is a medium sized, agile, and intelligent dog originally found roaming freely in the Southeastern United States. With a distinctive appearance marked by erect ears, a bushy tail, and a sable coat, Carolina Dogs are highly adaptable, affectionate with their families, and wary of strangers, making them excellent watchdogs. Their natural hunting instincts and independence require consistent training and an active lifestyle to thrive in a loving home environment.
