Meet Haku! Haku is a 17 pound, 1 year old, male Cairn terrier mix. This boy is full of love! He loves people, belly rubs, and playtime! Haku is a sweet, quiet boy that would love lots of people to give him attention and cuddles. Haku gets along with other dogs but thinks cats would make tasty treats. Haku is looking for a home with a yard, as he doesn't quite vibe with walking on a leash. This energetic terrier is ready to brighten up a home. Come meet him today.
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
