Hi, I'm Lucy-76 pounds of affection, enthusiasm, and very strong opinions about personal space (specifically, that there shouldn't be any between us).

My favorite place in the world is wherever my people are. If you're sitting down, I'll be nearby. If you're standing up, I'll be nearby. If you think you've found a moment alone, there's a good chance I've already volunteered to join you. Physical affection is my love language, and I speak it fluently.

I'm a young dog with a big heart and an even bigger commitment to self-improvement. Every day I'm building confidence, polishing my manners, and working hard to become the best companion I can be. New people-especially some men-may need a brief interview process before earning full access to my inner circle, but once we're friends, you're family.

My hobbies include expert-level napping, providing emotional support through impressive snoring, and maintaining close physical contact with loved ones whenever possible. My foster says my snoring could qualify as a natural phenomenon, but I prefer to think of it as a soothing soundtrack.

I'm also continuing my education. Leash walking is a skill I'm actively refining, so our walks are currently a collaborative effort featuring communication, patience, and the occasional interpretive dance move. On the other hand, I mastered the dog door almost immediately and remain quite proud of that accomplishment.

I've started expanding my social calendar with outings to places like Home Depot and PetSmart. I'm learning that public adventures involve more than just sniffing every interesting thing I encounter, and I'm making great progress.
