My owner has sadly passed, leaving me with the shelter as my only housing option. I was once a top-notch service dog, but the staff is scratching their heads trying to figure out my exact talents. One thing's for sure, though—I’m the epitome of canine class! I’ve shared my life with dogs, cats, and kids, and currently, I’m bunking with a 4-year-old human and an 8-year-old canine buddy. I get all wiggly with excitement for my dog pals, but mostly, I’m a laid-back, chill companion. I’m wagging my nub in hopes of finding a new family to shower me with love in my golden years.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
