She spent her entire life living outdoors with six other dogs and had very little human interaction before coming to the shelter. Because of this, Lil Mama is shy and unsure of people at first. She is not the type of dog who is going to walk up and immediately climb into your lap or demand attention. She needs time, patience, and understanding to figure out her place in this world.

What Lil Mama does know is dogs. She loves having canine companions around and would do best in a home with other friendly, confident dogs. Since arriving at the shelter, she has been playing with four other dogs, and having those dog friends around has helped her gain confidence and start to come out of her shell.

Lil Mama is a good dog with a kind heart. She simply needs someone willing to give her the time and TLC she deserves. Watching a shy dog learn to trust and blossom is one of the most rewarding experiences, and Lil Mama is worth every bit of that journey.
