I’m smart and food-motivated, and I already know some basic commands, which makes learning new things fun for me! I can be a bit sensitive to touch, so it’s best to ask the staff for more details on how to make me feel safe and happy. I do best in a calm environment, because new people, loud noises, and new things can make me nervous. I would love a home where I can take things at my own pace and feel safe exploring at my own comfort level. I’m also very interested in making friends with other dogs, so it’s important to meet any furry family members before adoption. If there are kids in the home 9 and under, I’ll need to meet them first too, since I can get nervous around new people and busy activity.
