Boscoe is the kind of dog who just wants to love his people and enjoy the simple things in life. A soft bed, a patch of fresh green grass to roll around in, CUDDLE time on the couch and someone to to adore him forever-that's his dream come true. This HANDSOME boy would happily be a lap dog if he could figure out how to shrink himself down a bit.

Boscoe is house and crate trained and has wonderful manners in his crate. If he needs to go outside he'll politely let you know with a bark. He's also doing great with leash walking. His foster home doesn't have a fenced yard so he has had to learn leash manners instead. Once he gets his happy wiggles out he settles in nicely and enjoys his walks. Still, he would absolutely love a home with room to run, play and stretch his legs without a leash. He loves to cool his tummy by sprawling out in the grass or wherever.

Boscoe does okay with other dogs, but he would truly shine as the only pup in the home where he can be the king of the castle and soak up all the love and attention for himself. He lives with several other dogs in his foster home. He is deeply LOYAL, AFFECTIONATE, DEVOTED and forms strong bonds with his people. He may seem a little shy when first meeting new people but give him a little patience and you'll quickly see his SWEET, LOVING personality come through.

During cuddle time, Boscoe has an adorable little habit of gently nibbling and "fleaing" as a way of showing affection. It's one of his quirky ways of loving his humans. He also prefers having a light left on and feels more comfortable not being in complete darkness. Boscoe is good with kids but because he's a big playful boy who doesn't always realize his size he would do best with older children rather than little ones. No cats for this handsome guy.

You may notice scar on Boscoe's back. He came into rescue with it and veterinarians believe it may have been caused by either a chemical burn or something hot being poured on him. Despite whatever happened in his past, Boscoe remains PLAYFUL, LOVING, trusting and ready to give his whole heart to a family who will cherish him the way he deserves.
