Vera is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) You can visit our Adoption Center anytime during open hours, no appointment needed.

Vera is:
Spayed: Yes!
Up to date on vaccines: Yes!
Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized

More about Vera:
Housebroken: Yes!
Crate trained: She has done great with free roam when home alone
Leash walking: Vera does well with her leash manners when walking in quieter neighborhoods but displayed frustration-based leash reactivity towards dogs when living in a busy, high-traffic neighborhood.
Dog social: Yes! She has lived with dogs of all sizes and done well. She seems to prefer calm, respectful dog friends.
Cat social: Unknown
Kid friendly: Yes! Vera is friendly and gentle with kids. She lived with children in her past home and did well.


Vera likes:
- Giving hugs (really!)
- Being outdoors
- Hanging out with her person, no matter the activity


Vera is a total lovebug who is calm, affectionate, and smart. She is very loyal to her people, but is also a rockstar at being home alone when you are at work. She likes to say hi to new pals on her walks, and enjoys spending time outside. She is generally just an adaptable, social gal who would likely do well in many types of homes!

Vera's adoption fee is $300, and she can't wait to meet you!
