Stratus - Boxer and Coonhound Dog for Adoption in Bolivar, Missouri

Need a friend to lift your spirits? Meet this sky high litter of adorable pups: Cumulus, Stratus, Cirrus, and Nimbus! They look to be a mix of Boxer/Coonhound so they're sure to make your home feel like cloud nine. We were found as strays so our history is a mystery. We're sweet pups and ready to find our homes.

Some pets are in foster homes or may already have visits scheduled, so appointments help ensure I'll be available. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, and we welcome adopters from any state. We have access to a transport to Aurora, CO. Other out of state adopters either travel to Missouri or arrange & pay for air transport. Virtual meet and greets are available on the appointment request.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. The Coonhound is a versatile and athletic breed known for its exceptional hunting abilities and loyalty. With a strong sense of smell and impressive tracking skills, Coonhounds are often used for hunting raccoons and other game. This breed is friendly, outgoing, and makes a devoted companion for an active family. Coonhounds come in different varieties, including the Black and Tan Coonhound, Redbone Coonhound, and Treeing Walker Coonhound, each with its own unique characteristics and qualities.
