Border Collie Dogs Available for Adoption in Ashland, Ohio

Meet TWINKIE!

She is a 4 ish year old Border Collie who weighs 35 pounds. She is friendly and does well with other dogs. Twinkie, like all Border Collies, is a bundle of energy and will need an active family who will exercise both mind and body daily. She is crate trained, knows some commands and walks well on a leash.

Unfortunately, Twinkie was mistreated in her previous home and had to be removed by the Sheriff. She hasn't lost her spirit and is very resilient. She is looking forward to getting a stable family and getting treated well.

Adoption fee is $400

All Ashland County Humane Society animals' adoption fees include:

~spay/neuter
~micro-chip
~de-worming
~vaccinations, including rabies
~heartworm prevention

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
