Sloane is the runt of the litter, but you’d never know it by the way he carries himself. From his meek beginning, he’s been full of ambition and spirit. Early on, in a litter of nine, he had to work a little harder to find his place at mealtime, but he never gave up. He was affectionately nicknamed Tiny Tim, which has stuck with him ever since. That determination is still part of who he is—it shows up in the best ways as he grows.
He’s sweet and spunky, with just enough of that scrappy instinct to keep things interesting. When he wrestles with his brothers, he jumps right in, holding his own with a kind of playful determination that’s hard not to smile at. He’s energetic and engaged, always ready to be part of the action, but there’s a lightness to him too—he’s not rough, just spirited.
Lately, Sloane has taken a special interest in water expanding his nickname to "Swimmy Timmy"! Whether it’s a bowl, a splash, or anything he can dip his paws into, he’s curious and completely drawn in. It’s become one of his favorite little discoveries, and it fits his personality perfectly-playful, exploratory, and just a little bit adventurous.
He loves to snuggle, whether tucked into the warm puppy pile or in the arms of his loving foster momma. There’s something about that closeness that he really leans into, and after a good round of play, he’s quick to settle in and soak up the comfort. But Sloane also has an independent streak. Every now and then, you’ll find him off on his own, quietly scouting around, taking in his surroundings without needing to be in the middle of everything.
That balance is what makes him so special. He loves connection, but he’s also confident enough to stand on his own. He’s affectionate without being clingy, playful without being overwhelming. Sloane is still small, but there’s something steady and determined in him that feels bigger than his size. He’s the kind of puppy who the more you watch him, the more you love him. And the more you love him, the more you see.
