She was Eagle, an abuse case at San Diego County Animal Services. Her family left her in the yard, and during a warrant search, Animal Services saw her in the back with an injured leg. They weren't allowed back by her, so they returned with a warrant for her. She had an injury that was so old her leg was necrotic. The only way to save her was amputating her leg.

Her human was tried and convicted of abuse and neglect, and she came to us as Annapurna, a sweet, beautiful, loving tripod Belgian Malinois.
