While her siblings were busy being puppies, Gia was busy taking notes. You'll find her watching the resident dogs, studying how things work, and quietly figuring out how to be included in whatever is happening. This Beagle/Lab/Australian Shepherd mix for adoption has a curiosity that serves her well. Gia quickly realized that the resident dogs earned treats and attention by sitting politely and touching a hand on command, so she taught herself both. She has also made impressive progress with potty training, confidently uses the doggy door, and understands how to use pee pads when needed. Smart, observant, and eager to be part of the action, she's always paying attention to the world around her.

Her personality will win you over, but her looks are pretty unforgettable too. Mostly white, Gia has soft, faded markings around her face and ears that look as though they were sketched with a pencil rather than painted on. Then there are her famous "Domino Toes"tiny black dots stamped across her pink paw pads that earned her nickname almost immediately. To make things even better, one of her favorite hobbies is grabbing a plush toy by its tag and shaking it with such enthusiasm that she occasionally tumbles head over paws in what looks remarkably like a puppy cartwheel.

Gia loves belly rubs, backyard adventures, and playtime with other dogs. Her ideal home is one where she can continue learning, exploring, and being included in daily life.
